The Power of Saying No: A Sourdough Baker’s Guide to Boundaries
Jaisha Wallentine
Dear Crumbheads,
News flash: You’re not obligated to share your sourdough (or your energy) with everyone.
Boundaries 101, The Sourdough Edition:
- It’s okay to say NO when someone asks for your last slice.
- You don’t have to explain why you need time to rest, reset, and proof your life.
- Set your “emotional oven” to the right temperature—don’t let people burn you out.
Crusty Challenge:
This week, practice saying “No, but I’ll think about it” and watch the peace roll in like steam from a freshly cracked loaf.
Mr. Crusty,
P.S. If they don’t respect your boundaries, hit ‘em with a stale baguette. (Metaphorically. Maybe.)
