Stop Ghosting Yourself

Stop Ghosting Yourself

When your starter — and your heart — both feel abandoned.

Dear Crumbheads,

You’ve been slipping out of your own life.
Messages left unanswered. Projects half-started. Feelings boxed up for “later.”
You tell yourself you’re just tired. Just busy. Just distracted.
But somewhere, underneath the noise, a softer truth knocks:
You’re still here.
You’re still waiting to be fed.

. . .

It’s okay if you froze today.
It’s okay if you drifted away from your own hands.

“I once ghosted myself so hard I found a loaf proofing in the neighbor’s kitchen.”

Today isn’t about forcing connection.
It’s about noticing the part of you that’s still reaching back.

Cup your hands around something warm. A mug. A bowl. Your own heart.
Stay for one breath longer than you want to.

You didn’t disappear.
You’re still here.
And that’s enough.
